he is dubbed the new messiah of representation in the Division of Saint Catherine South. he breathes life into everything that he touches and this has endeared the members of his Division to him.

An astute leader he motivates by seeing to each members’ welfare needs, a trait which has made him a valuable member of the Jamaica Constabulary Welfare fund Management Committee for the past eight years.

SSP Phillips has a combined service of 19 years to the people of Jamaica, with 14 years to the Ministry of National Security / Jamaica Constabulary force and five years with the Ministry of Education.

He has served Manchester/ Region 3 (then Island Special Constabulary Force, ISCF), Harman Barracks as former Staff Officer to ISCF Commandants’ Bromfield and Golding. ISCf Recruitment and Training Officer, National Police College of Jamaica (NPCJ), faculty of Leadership and Professional Development as Syndicate Director and Course Coordinator. he was also Director in the department of Academic Studies.

his impressive and colourful resume continues, as academics is only one of his strong competences. he was the Operations Officer for Clarendon in 2021, which propelled him to his present post of Commanding Officer.

he has a light side, as he is a young man with an old soul, and can cut a rug with any genre of music. he will make an excellent salsa dance part- ner if you can match his stamina. Being a fitness guru does help.
